How do I choose a domain name?

If you decide to let us build your website, please do not buy a new domain name. It is much more efficient for us to purchase the domain name so that we can build the site, host the site, and do your updates for you. Wrangling away domain names from domain sellers takes a lot of time.

Using your name is best, exp: GloriaGales.com
but if someone else already has that domain name better to add the word art or artist and still use .com, rather than to use .net

Exp: GloriaGalesArt.com or GloriaGalesFineArt.com or ArtistGloriaGales.com

Most importantly, the name of the site should be easy to remember; other than your actual name, all the other words should be real words, don’t make up nonsense words unless you expect to be as big as Google. (Wasn't google a nonsense word at one time?)
